Robert "Bob" Gluck has been an ambassador for the Elk Grove Chamber for many many years and it's a perfect connection for some of his favorite "past times" of life: his financial acumen and old cars.
Hard to imagine anyone wanting to be an insurance agent (sorry all you insurance agents!) but since the toddler age, Bob admits that’s him. He was mentored at an early age and since he grew up around it fell naturally into the finance services and insurance industry.
His financial business is run through Primerica. In this business, Bob assists his clients in meeting their needs for term life insurance, underwritten by the company¹s subsidiaries, and mutual funds, variable annuities and other financial products that are provided through third parties. The Primerica distribution model uniquely positions the company to reach the under served middle-income market in a cost effective manner.

Born in Israel, Bob and his family moved to Pennsylvania at age 6, where he lived and enjoyed life. He joined the Air Force to follow a love interest and ended up a commissioned officer. With the experience of being an enlisted man and then moving on to officer status, becoming a commander of drill sergeants was a given. The Air Force brought him to Travis Air Force Base, which is how he got from Pennsylvania to California and he moved around the area from Santa Rosa, Elk Grove, Fairfield and other points between. Bob stayed with the AF as part of the National Guard for several years and eventually came home to Elk Grove because of the people.

- Bob enjoys building relationships and assisting people with their finance woes, acting as their “Finance Doctor” (his term)
- Bob has always had a first love of cars - has owned over 30 - and raced British cars in auto cross
- Bob has orchestrated the development of the ambassador program for the Healdsburg Chamber, founded a Youth at Risk program, has been with the Elk Grove Chamber and it’s ambassador program for a lifetime, plus many other philanthropic adventures - which I suppose all were because he was a boy scout growing up
- Bob is an avid skier and taught for several years.
- Bob teaches a Computer lab at and elementary (K-8) school 4 hours a day during the school year.
- Bob takes lots of pictures of cars and has even sold a few to race car drivers. During his racing days he was lucky enough to be in the pits with some career racers.
